Not All Insurance Companies Are Boring

As I was driving home from my visit to the OC Museum of Art the other day, I saw this fantastic building from a distance. Once I drove up to it, I knew I had to photograph it. I imagined that I’d get out of the car, snap a couple of shots and be done with it.

Instead, the architecture of the Pacific Life building drew me in. I’d shoot something from one angle and then see another even more alluring. The place was vacant since it was the holiday weekend – which was a treat. I could just walk, gawk and shoot without interruption.

I wish more companies would create inspirational buildings to share with the public. For those curious to know more, the buildingwas designed by William Pereira, the architect of the Transamerica building, and constructed in 1972.
