The Climbing Life

My last trip to Joshua Tree was fairly landscape and nature heavy. This trip was about rock climbing and photographing those who climb and lead the climbing lifestyle.

When climbers describe how to do a route, they invariably stick their hands in the air and mime the moves required to make it up the rock. If you don’t know what they’re doing, it kind of looks weird. You’ll sometimes see two or three people all waiving their hands in unison and looking up to the sky.
